Team Anna has three months (Wednesday April 13th until Sunday July 10th) to collect 3,000 ballot petition signatures from registered voters living in the newly redistricted Illinois State House District 85.

We need a minimum of 1,500 signatures, but we know from experience that if we don’t collect at least double the minimum number of signatures required, the Democratic Party bosses will challenge our ballot petition filing and try to get us thrown off the ballot.

Note that her Democratic Party opponent only needed 400 signatures to get on the Primary ballot. Currently the two party tyranny makes the rules and this is how unfair and unlevel they make the playing field. It’s time to change that.

The new District 85 is primarily in parts of Woodridge, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Lockport, and Crest Hill.

You don’t have to live in the district to help us collect signatures.

If you are a registered voter and live in the new State House District 85 and would like to sign Anna’s petition that is very much appreciated.

You can determine if you live in the district by looking at the “Illinois State House Districts starting January 11, 2023” section of the “Ballotpedia Redistricting in Illinois after the 2020 census” webpage. You can zoom into the map all the way to individual streets.
